Women's Domestic Violence Court Advocacy Service
Our service offers advocacy, support and information to women experiencing domestic violence by:
- Providing information about how to apply for an Apprehended Domestic Violence Order (ADVO)
- Providing information about Local Court procedures and the ADVO process
- Providing assistance and information to tailor an ADVO that meets your individual needs
- Providing support to women and children who have applied for an ADVO
- Making appropriate referrals to other agencies
- Advocating for women and children's right to live a safe life, free from domestic and family violence.

If you are attending court for an ADVO matter, we encourage you to contact us prior to your court date so that we know to expect you.
Please arrive at court by 9.15am and bring your ADVO papers with you. Court staff can direct you to the service.
