TENANTS ADVICE AND ADVOCACY SERVICE

The Northern Rivers Tenants Advice and Advocacy Service advises and advocates for tenants from Tweed Heads to Grafton. We are a free service providing information and advice to all tenants, including Private, Housing NSW, Community Housing, Aboriginal Housing and Caravan Park residents. 


We Provide:

  • Telephone advice to tenants

  • Education in tenants rights for community workers, tenants and groups

  • Advice on going to the Consumer, Trader & Tenancy Tribunal

  • Representation and advocacy for tenants in priority cases

Advice line hours 

Monday to Wednesday 9am to 2pm

Thursday 12pm to 3pm and 5pm to 7pm.

The Service receives a high volume of calls. Message bank operates outside of Advice Line hours, and when phones lines are busy.
