Community Legal Education    

We provide legal education sessions to service providers and the community on specific legal issues and the services provided by the legal centre. 
In addition to CLE the Northern Rivers Community Legal Centre, in consultation with the community and services, develops projects that will enhance greater understanding of the legal system and participation in decisions that affect particular communities.  

 Ongoing projects include: 

  • Youth and Security Guards in Shopping Centres project.
  • Human Rights Advocacy Training for Schools.

  •   Youth Rights and Responsibilities in Public Places 
  •   Centrelink Appeals 
  •   Same sex parenting
  •   Changes to the law on Victims Compensation and Apprehended Domestic Violence Orders
